Welcome to Reed's of Fowey, a waterside Grade Two Listed property in the heart of the historic town of Fowey in Cornwall. I have had the pleasure of welcoming guests to my property for over eighteen years. Reed's is a Georgian building in the heart of 'Poldark' country and is set right on the water's edge. Reed's building houses a pretty little shop, a drinks terrace, and the top floor is a charming holiday let. Guests are invited to share the wonderful sunny waterside terrace with the owners at all times. Whether it be sitting with a glass of wine, fishing, or just watching the boats, above all, Reed's is relaxing, welcoming, and fun.
Fowey is set in a beautiful part of Cornwall close to many major attraction, such as The Eden Project and the Lost Garden of Heligan. There are many wonderful walks in and around the Town which has direct access to the South West Coast Path and The Saints Way. The area is often used in film locations such as Poldark and Doc Martin, and often welcomes cruise ships into the harbour playing host to The World Cruise Ship twice. Regatta week in August sees the annual visit of the Red Arrows, and in December there is a well established Christmas Market. Indeed, Fowey is a great all year destination with a mild climate and lots to do and see out of the main holiday season. Christmas and New Year are very popular with the festivities culminating with a fantastic firework display. Should you not want to use a car, the Town has everything you will need, and has a great selection of shops, restaurants, cafes, and pubs. Fowey is a stunning little Town that people return to time and time again.
