Beautiful accommodation ideally situated in a small neighbourhood overlooking the picturesque fishing village of Kyleakin and the Castle Moil. Our home away from home consists of three bedrooms (one with a new en-suite), bathroom, kitchen and spacious lounge. We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible with excellent mattresses for sleeping comfort and a spacious power shower in the en-suite for easing tired muscles. The lounge is a great space for those who want to relax, read or watch something on the television. You can also use YouTube or sign in to your Netflix account on it if you want too.
Number 7 is a perfect base for touring and exploring the Isle of Skye and the wilds of Wester Ross. After a busy day of hiking or touring you can come home to relax inside or outside to the tune of bird song in the peaceful garden.
We have off road parking for two vehicles, and we offer free Wi-Fi throughout the house.
We love to meet new people and are so happy to be able to give guests a great experience as they explore the beautiful Isle of Skye. We love to travel ourselves and from these experiences have been able to tailor our property to be as comfortable as possible. We have a young family and love to spend time as a family and spend time with friends.
Our beautiful accommodation is ideally situated in a small neighbourhood overlooking the picturesque fishing village of Kyleakin and the Castle Moil (Caisteal Maol in Gaelic). It boasts sea and mountain views across the straights of Loch Alsh towards Glen Shiel and the Five Sisters of Kintail from the upstairs bedrooms. Kyleakin, the gateway village to the Isle of Skye, is only a 5 minute walk from Number 7 where there is a scattering of local amenities including pubs, restaurants, and cafes. There are also many beautiful, scenic walks within a short distance from our house, and walks available from the house itself.
It is recommended to use a car to make the most of your trip to Skye as there is a lot to see and do. However, there are several local tours that can be booked to see the Island if you do not drive.
The local bus stop is only a couple of minutes walk away from the house, near the roundabout where the Skye bridge meets the Island. The train station is located in Kyle of Lochalsh, just over the bridge from Kyleakin.
