Spread across 25 private acres, it offers a sustainable, wildlife-friendly retreat surrounded by woodland, gardens and open countryside. With a focus on slow living and quiet comfort, the estate is home to beautifully restored holiday cottages, powered by renewables and designed for rest and reconnection. Guests can explore woodland paths, enjoy produce from our Walled Garden, or simply take in the scenery with red squirrels and songbirds as regular visitors. With thoughtful hospitality and a deep respect for the land, Newtonmill offers a natural escape from everyday life.

Newtonmill is a family-run micro-estate. We’ve slowly restored the estate into a place where people can come to unwind, unplug and enjoy nature at their own pace. We care deeply about sustainability, wildlife and thoughtful hospitality, and love being able to share this peaceful place with others. Hosting gives us the chance to welcome people from all walks of life and offer a restful, personal experience that leaves space to breathe. We're close by if needed but happy to keep things hands-off too.
