Minimoore Lodge, a fresh, modern snug in the heart of Tolgullow. It is the perfect retreat after a day of hard exploring.
Situated at the centre of the north and south coastlines there is plenty for everyone to enjoy.
For keen walkers or cyclists there is the 11 mile Bissoe trail, for those who enjoy history, try the church yard trails. If you have come to surf, we have some of the best surf beaches only a few miles away.
This lodge sleeps 4 and has an additional double sofa bed.
We are delighted to welcome you to Minimoore Lodge. When we moved to Cornwall our whole lives changed for the better. We fully embrace this beautiful part of the country, it’s walks, it’s beaches and the friendliness of the people. Hosting seems a natural way to show others what Cornwall has to offer.
Tolgullow and St Day are steeped in mining history. At one time, St Day was recorded as being the wealthiest village in the world, due to its copper and mineral extractions. You will find many local features and landmarks that link to its rich history.
Minimoore Lodges is situated in the grounds of Mooregrove cottage. Mooregrove cottage is 360 years old and has characteristic low ceilings and dark rooms.
The position of the cottage is ideal as it is roughly equal distance from the North and South coasts making it just a short ride to a stunning beach. Portreath beach is a popular beach for surfers. Mooregrove is also positioned next to the famous Bissoe trail so a must for keen walkers and cyclists. There are many lovely walks surrounding the area including Tihidy woods.
