Matlock Glamping Rooms have been lovingly created within a detached stone barn on the edge of the Peak District. Set in the heart of the historic spa town of Matlock, halfway up the famous Bank road once served by trams. It is a short but fairly steep walk to the centre. These newly renovated 'Glamping Rooms' ooze style and comfort. The private room is self contained within the barn, with a shower room and a cute, fully equipped kitchenette. Ideal for couples but also practical for a large family. There is a boot store, bike shed and parking. We can also provide a handy drop-off service allowing you to explore the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales.
All bedding and towels are provided for the double bed. The single beds have mattress protectors, fitted sheet and pillow, including pillow case, but a sleeping bag and towel must be brought.
Please contact us to request all adult occupancy, and be aware we will ask for a damages/cleaning deposit.
The top bunk bed and the single bed on the mezzanine (see photos) are accessed by ladders and over 2 metres from ground level. There are protective rails but care must be taken and we would not recommend use of these two beds by children under the age of 12.
It is a short 5 min walk downhill to the centre of Matlock and all it's amenities. Shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and a beautiful park are right on your doorstep.
Andy and Kirsty live next door in a converted pub which now functions as a venue, hosting private parties and events. Always happy to help when needed.
Located on a street with a number of independent businesses including hair salon, nail bar, artisan pizza takeaway, deli and TWO micro pubs!
Matlock is easily accessed with good public transport links including it's own train station. A bus route operates from the centre of town to the accommodation to avoid the short, but fairly steep, hill once serviced by tram!
