Slow down and relax in this calm, stylish space. A lovingly restored stone bothy with all mod cons including its own terrace and barbeque. Situated on a hillside behind a pair of houses, and set in a pretty shared garden, the bothy is private but not remote.
Nestled in a peaceful village of just 14 houses, it’s located about 2 miles from the NC 500 and the Applecross Inn and Walled Garden. A short walk will take you to the local beach where seals often play. A longer walk of about 35 minutes will take you to a beautiful sandy beach with stunning blue waters. This unspoiled area offers walking holidays in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Dog friendly, guests are welcome to bring one dog to stay by prior arrangement. Explore the stunning wildlife during your visit with opportunities to see seals, otters, pine martens, and dolphins.
We provide fresh flowers on arrival with a courtesy welcome basket which includes a bottle of wine.
About 18 years ago, I purchased a lovely croft in the Highlands and renovated it entirely. I've then taken on a few other properties, all unique but well located. All a stones throw to water !! - either the sea or a river, and all with a local shop and bar within a short walk. They are lovely home from homes which I enjoy visiting just as much now as when I first bought them. My own extended family also return and return.........I hope you will enjoy all that they offer too.
Set behind a row of houses, with a view across to Skye. Shared path access with the house in front of the bothy. Front gate opens onto unspoilt hillside with waterfall, streams and lochs. Whilst Applecross is generally considered a remote location, the bothy is part of the village and is itself not remote
