My name is Deborah and I live in Kellsboro House with my husband Mark and occasionally a visit from our son Thomas and daughter Lauren. We have lived in Fairford most of our lives and it is a wonderfully friendly safe environment. We welcome you to our annex Kellsboro Corner attached to our house which is lovely and private with its own front door and parking directly in front off the road. We enjoy walking our dogs around the lovely river here, we hope you can also enjoy this with your dog who is also welcome, there are also dog friendly pubs nearby so your family furry friend can come too..
Fairford
Has lots of dogs walks, mainly by the river and indeed lots of local pubs to frequent in the surrounding villages. A beautiful place to visit with a lovely 15 C church commanding the market place.
Definitely worth a visit, is Bibury, go for lunch at the Catherine Wheel (postcode GL7 5ND) – very reasonable – take a walk down to the River Coln, maybe take a tea in at The Swan Inn. Only 5 - 7 minutes away in the car
Bourton-on-the-Water - Regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England, it offers a wealth of attractions and shops. Take a tea in one of the tea rooms overlooking the River Windrush. About 30 minutes by car.
Cirencester - Plenty of places to eat, lots of quaint shops to have a look around, beautiful church in the Market Place. There is a museum named the Corinium Museum which houses a collection of highly significant finds from the area, prehistoric tools, mosaics etc. About 15 minutes by car.
Cotswold Wildlife Park – (Post code OX18 4JP)
This is better than a zoo, the animals here have more freedom to roam and you can even walk through the Madagascar section with the lemurs. About 10 - 15 minutes by car. Dogs permitted.
