At James' Places we like to offer you individually styled accommodation that is unique and a bit quirky. The property is located within the town of Merthyr Tydfil so is in a town setting but within a minutes drive of The Brecon Beacons, Pen Y Fan, Bike Park Wales, The Four Water Falls and Zip World. This gives you the benefit of being next door to the countryside but all close to the shops, restaurants and pubs. Enjoying your stay is our main priority so we send out a list of suggested things to do and our favourite places to eat to help you make the most of your time with us with the confidence that these activities and places to eat have our seal of approval. We are a family run business and have been operating since 2016 and have 4 houses and 14 studios at different locations around Merthyr Tydfil. We have a loyal team who have been with us since the beginning and their priority is also to make you happy.

This 1 bedroom studio flat is beautifully decorated in Scandinavian style with designer wallpaper by Boråstapeter in the bedroom and Ogata Kuren in the lounge. This makes for an extremely calm and laid back ambience. This accommodation has been made for those on long term work or study placements as it is available for a minimum 30 day rental. It is located in Merthyr Town centre. This means it is in walking distance to a selection of coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets plus it is very close to the train and bus station. Merthyr Tydfil is only a 5 minute drive from the entrance of the Brecon Beacons National Park and Bike Park Wales so any guest can make the most of their down time! The studio flat includes a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, hob, fridge/freezer plus all the pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery etc so you can cook what you want when you want. Alternatively it is so close to the local amenities you can easily walk to a restaurant or coffee shop. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with plenty of storage space to hide your clothes away and the shower room has a large walk in cubicle. The studio flat also has the advantage of on site parking plus we are delighted to be dog friendly plus bikes can be stored in the property proving theyare clean.
