Honey Cottage is the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds and all it has to offer.
Stow-on-the-Wold has a beautiful selection of antique shops, gift shops, art galleries, restaurants, teashops and traditional pubs, and is perfectly placed for many beautiful countryside walks. St Edward's Church there features the most photographed door in the Cotswolds and the inspiration for JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.
Just a short drive from many of the picturesque Cotswolds towns and villages, such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden, Broadway, Burford and The Slaughters. Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon is a little further afield, but is well worth a visit.
If you fancy spending the day out with the animals, then make sure to visit The Cotswolds Wildlife Park, Crocodiles of the World and Adam Henson’s Cotswolds Farm Park, all within easy reach by car from Honey Cottage.
