When you stay here, you can leave your car behind as there is so much available within easy reach. A convenient 10 minutes walk away is Galmpton village where you will find the local pub, village store and post office, family butcher and hairdresser. It is well situated for beaches too with three close by – Broadsands beach (1.4 miles) as well as dog-friendly Goodrington Sands (2.5 miles) and Elberry Cove (1 mile). Agatha Christie’s former home, the captivating Greenway House & Gardens (now National Trust), is just a mile down the road and a must-see during your stay. The park also offers superb views of the River Dart, across to Dartmoor in the distance. You can take a walk down to the Creek in 10 minutes, passing a gorgeous view of the Dart on the way.
