Sustainability Award! I am grateful to have been awarded a Travel Sustainability Award by Booking .com. I have gone over an above the requirements to make sure that energy usage, single-use plastics and a number of other wasteful aspects of our lives have been kept to a minimum. I also support the #TravelForTomorrow sustainability pledge Global Movement by TravelZoo Located just outside of the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to be easily accessible. Fancy somewhere new to stay? Why not book here! 10 minutes tram ride into the city centre. Free parking, excellent public transport access. Your room is equipped with a mini fridge and hot drink making facilities, a few "nice touches" and a really comfy king size bed. The room has triple glazing for extra peace and quiet. The room is a spare room in my home. There is no lock on the guest room door as there are only 2 bedrooms, mine and yours so it's not necessary. As long as the front door is closed and locked properly, you and your belongings are safe. Check in and check out times: As there is only 1 room in the property, I can be flexible with check in and check out times but this depends entirely on bookings either side of yours. For instance, if no one is booked in after you, you're welcome to check out any time that day. I try to accommodate your requests as best as possible.
I've been hosting for about 10 years now on various platforms, I've met some amazing people and heard some amazing stories, tell me your story :) I work all over the country, hence the check-in times, however, I'll do my best to accommodate you. I have lots of weird and wonderful hobbies and distractions which keep me entertained, from astrophotography to scuba diving, axe throwing tournaments to meditation. Life is for living so why not grab it with both hands! I do have a cat that lives in the property with me, he's a little shy to start with but he soon becomes very sociable.
The neighbourhood is under a lot of redevelopment and new buildings are growing out of the ground very quickly. The constructions crews start work around 8am but your room is very quiet, even when they are working. Other than that, I've been here for over 20 years now so it can't be that bad :)
