Just outside is a walking path that leads down through the field at the back of Compton House to the village, 4 minute stroll. Chipping Campden High Street is where you will find restaurants and pubs as well as some historic sights and architecture. You can also walk down the road to the village. All Chipping Campden Pubs and Restaurants receive very good reviews. Secure private parking in front of Compton House for up to 6 cars. Quiet and peaceful area, friendly neighbours. Wildlife visit the fenced secure garden, hedgehogs, pheasants, partridges, assortment of birds. Public transportation in the village to Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham and many towns between runs during the day. If you wish to explore outside of Chipping Campden we highly recommend having a car. Children can spend time at the new Chipping Campden play park that has an exciting young person's zip line.
