Located in Breakish, in a historic building, 13 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, Carnmhor, Isle of Skye - Stunning 242 year old cottage on its own sea shore! is a holiday home with a garden and terrace. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the holiday home's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Featuring a Nintendo Wii, the holiday home has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave, 2 living rooms with a seating area and a dining area, 3 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bath. "SEEKING:- 242 year old shoreside cottage, strong, young on the inside, seeks adventurous people to share adventures and create life- lasting memories. Can guarantee a good time." Our beautiful 242 year old seafront crofters cottage is on the stunning shores of the Isle of Skye. With its own sea access, uninterrupted views of the mountains, forests and islands, it has been fully refurbished to a high standard creating superb accommodation to maximise the guest' experience, and in such a prime location. An excellent base for those wishing to explore the amazing scenery, wildlife, bars, restaurants and adventure the Isle of Skye has to offer - or to cycle, snorkel, play golf, fish, dive, kayak, hunt dinosaurs, sail and take amazing photographs. We are just one mile from the town of Broadford for all usual amenities, so a perfect balance of remoteness but within touching distance of civilisation. Carnmhor boasts two living rooms, each with a log burning fire; one with an exposed traditional stone wall and the other with a OS map feature wall. With a FULLY equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with walk in shower and deep D shaped bath, utility room with washer/dryer, and three lovely bedroom, we are set up for families, dogs or romantic couples. We are a family ourselves, and the cottage is our forever home. Its set up for us, so has everything a couple, or a family with a pet, may need - from a large selection of games, DVDs, CDs, Books, TVs/streaming, games console etc, to roaring fires and a fully equipped kitchen - and an unbelievable, ever changing, world class scenic view! We do ask people to really look after and treasure our special place. Non-contact arrivals and departures. All instructions and welcome book sent via email 4-5 days before arrival.
The area is extremely quiet, as you would expect. Carnmhor has its own road access and private driveway, with gardens to all four sides and its own private access to the shore. Please remember this is rugged landscape. The nearest town is just one mile away and has every amenity needed; shops, bars, garages, pharmacy, vet and hospital. The Isle of Skye is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Local walks are abundant, roads are well signed and bus routes or taxis are available over the island.
