Amidst the idyllic, peaceful scenery of the Lake District’s Buttermere Fells, the Bridge Hotel is set between Buttermere and Crummock Water. It offers individually styled rooms and a charming traditional bar and restaurant. Bright rooms all have a private bathroom and boast unique furnishings. They also all include a telephone and free tea and coffee making facilities. Real ales, exposed beams and home-made light meals are provided in the relaxed bars. The residents’ private lounge is used for morning coffee, cream teas and pre-dinner drinks, whilst also offering free Wi-Fi access. The immediate area is perfect for walking, with the shores of Buttermere and Crummock Water less than a mile away. Whinlatter Forest Visitor Centre is only 3 miles away, featuring the Go Ape outdoor activity park. If you are looking to escape the usual distractions of everyday life whilst on holiday then look no further than the Bridge Hotel in Buttermere. Our bedrooms have no televisions, no radios or mobile phone signal. In fact, nothing to distract you from our spectacular natural surroundings.
