Sleeping up to 5 guests, Beach Cottage is perfectly placed being 320m from the Lovely Shanklin Esplanade. The train station is 500m away and local buse stops mean that the whole Island is in reach. The cottage has an en-suite double bedroom and a triple bedroom (one double bed & one single bed). The lounge has a large flat screen tv with sky and netflix access. The full size, fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a small external seating and BBQ area. Please note that smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on site.

Having had a large family we understand the stress of organising a "relaxing" family holiday. We try to supply everything that you are likely to need - so that you don't have to remember to bring it. House towels, toilet rolls, condiments, soap and cleaning products are provided. Beach chairs, bodyboard, football, parasols, buckets and spades etc are all available to be loaned free. We live on site and are available for requests, general advice, travel arrangements and local amenities. Our ethos is simple. We want you to have the best holiday possible. Beach Cottage is situated with all the facilities of a traditional family holiday. Something for everyone and every age group. Free parking and the ability to walk 320m down the slope to the beach mean that family beach days are entirely stress free. There are beach and cliff top walks for all abilities. Local attractions include crazy golf, amusement arcades/rides along the award winning beach. There are local kayaking, paddle board and bike/scooter hire available. Shanklin Chine and the Theatre are nearby as well as traditional cream tea rooms at Shanklin old Village. There are local shops and supermarkets within walking distance for all your self catering needs. Sandown is a short drive away with a pier, zoo and golf course. St Catherine's lighthouse and Ventnor Botanic Gardens are a short drive along the stunning cliff top roads. Cowes and Newport are around 30 minutes drive away. A local secret is that the Isle of Wight is even more stunning in the winter, watching thunderous seas and weather providing dramatic visual displays. Quiet, romantic evening walks along the cliff top to a warm cozy bar make Beach Cottage an ideal short-term winter break.
