The cottage is situated in a 'cul de sac' so quite and safe for all. You are beside nature at its best. Everywhere in the village is within walking distance. So what is available: post office, library, three restaurants, three pubs, shops, two ATM's, two hairdressers, chemists, medical centre, golf course, sailing club, Ardclinis adventure centre, Ruairi Og hurling pitch, Church of Ireland, Catholic Church, Presbyterian church, great walks. All is on your doorstep for touring, walking, cycling, fishing, sailing or just relaxing and enjoy all that surrounds you.
I Cultural Officer for St Brigid's GAC. We have organised events entitled 'St Brigids Miscellany' and 'Brigid Sessions at Harlequins'. These cultural events are evenings of: music, story telling, poetry, singing and dance. I am a member of Olympian triathlon club was key to organising 'Green Glens of Antrim Triathlon' now called 'The Goat'. I am learning to play the tin whistle and enjoy trad music. I am retired and also renovate property.

It is also within easy reach of the famous Giant’s Causeway, Glenariff Waterfalls Forest Park and Belfast, with attractions including the Titanic Centre. This is a great place to enjoy all things Irish, including hurling matches, spontaneous pub music folklore, smugglers’ tales, ancient history and the ubiquitous sounds and sights of nature.
