27 Skiptory Howe is situated on the White Cross Bay Holiday Park on the edge of Lake Windermere between Windermere and Ambleside on the A591.(parkdeanresorts.co.uk/location/lake-district/white-cross-bay/) It has recently been refurbished and is centrally heated and comprises 2 bedrooms which sleeps 4/5* people.(* There is a small fold-up foam chair bed that would be suitable for a child). The lodge has a comfortably appointed spacious lounge, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a built-in fridge freezer, oven and hob and a microwave. Master bedroom has a kingsize double bed and ensuite bathroom (shower) and twin bedded room and family bathroom (bath with shower). Large wraparound (2 sides) decking area ideal for relaxing on sunloungers (4 supplied) and for dining al-fresco. (gas bbq supplied). 40 inch, wall-mounted Samsung TV, dvd player and Bose CD and radio and separate bluetooth sound system.

We live in Poulton-le-Fylde, a small market town on the outskirts of Blackpool. We love to go walking in the Lake District and our lodge is both a home-from-home and an "away from it all" retreat where we can relax and unwind and enjoy the tranquility and beautiful scenery that surrounds us. When we are not using it ourselves we let it out and we hope that guests treat it with respect and enjoy staying there as much as we always do.

Our lodge is situated on the White Cross Bay Holiday Park which is located between Windermere and Ambleside on the A591 just past Troutbeck Bridge. White Cross Bay is a popular destination for both families and couples and is owned and operated by Parkdean Resorts. The site comprises a large number of lodges, mostly privately owned, many of which are let out by their owners. Parkdean also let out the lodges owned by them and some privately owned lodges where owners use Parkdean's letting service. We do not use this service and enable guests to book directly with us.
