A cosy 2 storey recently converted coach house in a secluded yard with chicken small holding in the field adjacent. It'll be quiet and warm and we've recently furnished it with new beds, mattresses, a new sofa and appliances alongside our antique furniture. There's a private entrance to the property on the ground floor & the upstairs can also be accessed by another door with an outside stone staircase. The bedroom can be made up as a super king bed or 2 singles on request in advance. In the bedroom there's a rack to hang or fold your clothes as well as a desk & wifi. Full kitchen with a dining table and the sofa can be made in to a sofa bed. To avoid upsetting the dogs in the adjacent cottage, please no children under 13
Hello! We look forward to hosting you! The accommodation is run by a brother (Nick) and sister (Priscilla). Priscilla lives next door with her 2 friendly dogs and runs a mini chicken smallholding (if you need fresh eggs, they're available to purchase). Nick is an architect and lives with his family in the next door village. We grew up in the adjacent house and have recently converted our old horse stables in the courtyard of our old house. We know a lot about the Vale of Glamorgan and are pleased to share our lovely area with you.
A quiet, charming rural village of Llanbethery which is in a cul-de-sac with very little traffic. There's no public transport so a car is needed but there's lots of lovely walks or cycles around (with pubs en route!). Our neighbouring village Llancarfan has a pub as well as a beautiful church with 15th century medieval wall paintings and it's open for visits. A 12 mins drive to Cardiff International Airport. 25 mins drive to Cardiff City Centre. 10 mins drive to St Athan (Aston Martin plant). 15 mins drive to Barry Island (beach & the Home of Gavin & Stacey). 13 mins drive to the market town of Cowbridge (shops, restaurants & pubs). 20 mins drive to the M4. 6 mins drive to Gileston Manor (2.9miles) Pubs near by: Fox & Hounds (25 mins walk), The Six Bells (7 mins drive), The Bush Inn (11 mins drive). Other things to do nearby if you have a car: Walks along the coastline, Amelia Trust Farm, Fonmon Castle (lots of events for children), Dyffryn Gardens, St Fagans National Museum of History (great for kids).
