Charming , traditional character cottage overlooking the river. River Cottage is ideally located for romantic getaways or fun with family and friends. Living room complete with lovely vintage interior and exposed beams, a well equipped kitchen ,downstairs bathroom. Beautiful French style bedroom with a superb superking size bed. Choice of Cafes, restaurants and eateries within a few hundred yards. The cottage is in an excellent location being 250 yards from the stunning Chatsworth Park Estate and truly countless amazing local walks right on the doorstep. Bikes can be securely stored in the rear yard of the property making this cottage an ideal base for foodies, cyclists and hikers alike.
Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to rooms on different levels.
Parking for one car and WiFi.
One well behaved dog welcome, to be discussed with owner.

River Cottage is very close to the main footpath into Chatsworth Park (250 yards). There are good pubs and cafes very close by who are dog friendly. High end dining experiences nearby at the Cavendish Hotel or Fishers Restaurant. The main A623. road through the village is close by linking to Bakewell, Sheffield and Chesterfield.
Very good bus service from Chesterfield rail station to the bus stop at Nether End, Baslow which is 200 yards from Cottage.
Wonderful walks through Chatsworth Park, Baslow Edge and Curbar Edge.
