Peter, Carol-Ann, and their two friendly dogs, Diam and Mylla, invite you to find Repose at Touja, our 200-year old manor house in southwestern France. Our home offers a tranquil garden set amongst the trees and fields of the French countryside, but within easy driving distances of charming villages, farmers' markets, summer festivals, and the Pyrenees. Our department, the Gers, is known for its cuisine, especially all things duck, armagnac, and an array of restaurants featuring wonderful local produce.
After retiring from city life in Boston, we fell in love with the Gers, its beautiful, peaceful landscape, and welcoming people - and we want to share it with our guests!
Our corner of the Gers is ideally situated for exploring French country life, including walking and hiking, weekly markets, historical sites (this is Three Musketeers country!), and festivals (Jazz in Marciac, Tempo Latino)
