Our two rooms are located in a large traditional shale stone building, at the entrance of the charming village of Saint-Jean de Pourcharesse in the heart of southern Ardèche. Village of character known for its famous listed church and its breathtaking panorama on the Cevennes ardéchoises and gardoises.
Ideally located 17 km from Vans and Joyeuse, they have a completely independent access.
They are at the start of many hiking trails, and not far from white water activities and climbing.
The swimming pool (10m x 5m) with breathtaking views is freely accessible.
Table d'hôte possible on request.
Our rooms :
- Bedroom suite of 40 m2 (including a very spacious room, a bathroom with large walk-in shower and separate toilet) with panoramic views from the private terrace of 12 m2 lauze stones.
- Rural room of 30 m2 with a view of the forest and the surrounding nature. Ideal to relax!
The bathroom, separate from the bedroom, has a walk-in shower and a sink in a shale stone niche.

We are located in the charming shale stone village of Saint-Jean de Pourcharesse, 600 m above sea level in the foothills of the Cévennes ardéchoises, enjoying a breathtaking view of the Gard mountains. Here, there reigns tranquility!
For lovers of hiking, marked trails leave the village and swimming in the river are nearby. Rock climbing and white water activities (such as canoeing) are practiced in the Chassezac Gorge, 20 minutes away. As for Vallon Pont d'Arc, the gorges of Ardeche (highest gorges of Europe with breathtaking views) and the cave Chauvet (jewel of cave art), it takes one hour drive. Charming villages to visit such as Thines, Naves or Banne. Finally, the Aven d'Orgnac site is 45 minutes away.
No trade in our village, but more than 50 traders and restaurants 17 km to Les Vans, charming small town known for its weekly market and its southern atmosphere.
