## The neighborhood
Today, Part-Dieu is a district where people work, live, go out, relax, and create. With a dense public transportation network, it’s also a destination for shopping, sports facilities, and cultural sites.
Shops The district offers a variety of shopping options, including the Part-Dieu shopping center and the famous Halles Paul Bocuse, as well as smaller shops and restaurants scattered throughout. In total, over 800 stores, with about 30% being cafés and restaurants. The Part-Dieu shopping center alone has 240 shops and restaurants, attracting 35 million visitors annually.
