Enjoy a charming old French stone house with place for the whole family or a group of friends. Hang out in the garden or take a walk in the surroundings and enjoy the calm. Visit the neighbourhood and discover the landscape that inspired the Impressionist painters. Take a day trip to the coast or drive to Giverny with Monet's house and garden which is at 30km distance. Or why not visit Rouen, the cultural and historical capital of Normandy? And last, but not least, make a trip or two to  Paris!
Since a couple of years I live outside of Paris in a village in Vexin, which is a "Parc naturel régional" . This means an area with a protected cultural landscape. Here we have renovated two houses where one is a vacation rental. I hope you will come and visit us and enjoy this beautiful region so close to Paris but still so much countryside. ​
Gisors et son Château fort: 2km Lyons la forêt, among the most beautiful villages in France : 30 km Giverny and the garden and the house of Monet : 32 km Auvers-sur-Oise, the village where Van Gogh stayed and painted the last months of his life : 46 km Rouen, Normandy's cultural and historical capital with its medieval city center : 60 km Paris: 77 km (to the city center, Notre Dame) Dieppe a charming city on the Normand coast : 100 km
