Short or long-term rental, authentic and welcoming accommodation in Normandy, at the gateway to Brittany
Far from the tourist crowds drawn by the marvellous Mont Saint-Michel, just twenty minutes from the estate, you'll find peace and quiet, nestling in the heart of a wooded, unspoilt park with a view over the Normandy bocage.
L'Angevinière will make your stay rhyme with ecotourism and slowtourism, being close to all amenities and less than an hour from popular tourist sites in Brittany and Normandy, such as Saint-Malo, Cancale and Granville.
Open all year round, ideally located for a night or a week, our 2 houses (Coquelicots and Hortensias) built of local stone on the Angevinière estate will offer you a welcome break from the hustle and bustle, while being less than 5 minutes from the shops and restaurants. Lovers of wide open spaces and magical horizons.
An ecological and eco-responsible approach
At l'Angevinière, we are committed to an ecological approach and have put in place a number of measures in this respect:
- electricity is partly generated by solar panels, each gîte has its own compost bin
- Ecological products are available in holiday accommodation,
- The park is managed without the use of chemicals and we practise rational mowing to encourage biodiversity on our grounds.
- Finally, our breakfasts are homemade from organic and local produce.
At l'Angevinière, we don't just provide rooms or quiet houses for our guests; we take pleasure in welcoming you in person, even late at night, as if you were part of the family! We like to show you around your accommodation, for a night or a week, and get to know you a little by listening to your story. If you feel like it and have the time, we'll show you our garden and how we strive to maintain a balance between amenity and wilderness. And if you just want some peace and quiet without interacting with us, we'll respect your serenity as best we can! Welcome :)

L'Angevinière is a small hamlet of just a few houses overlooking a Norman bocage landscape of meadows, fields, clumps of trees and hedgerows, crossed by the Sélune, a salmon-fishing river.
