Kallio is the best place to explore a taste of the real Helsinki. I used to live in this building and it is super convenient - everything is around the corner. Getting on the metro in a few minutes from leaving the house makes it super convenient for exploring the city. We renovated this apartment recently with my parents and really thought of everything to make you comfortable. Even though it is small, we have fit everything you need for your stay. I love giving you recommendations based on your interests! My favorite things to do include visiting the public saunas or walking around in Vallila. The restaurant scene in Helsinki is also great to explore. Kallio has it all!

The neighborhood of Kallio/Harju is the trendiest in Helsinki - here you can truly live like a local. New restaurants, cafes and bars keep popping up, along with boutiques and vintage shops. The prices are also very reasonable compared to restaurants in the center of town, and the vibe is unbeatable. Some interesting spots nearby include: Kotiharjun Sauna - one of the oldest public saunas Teurastamo - an old butchery turned market and cultural center Old-Vallila - historical quarter with old wooden houses Kuudes linja club complex - best clubbing in the country Kalasatama & Tripla malls - biggest shopping mall in the Nordics Rivera - indie cinema theater, drink wine and eat tapas during the movie in a cafe like setting Some of my favorite restaurants within a short walk from the flat: Harju 8 - a modern nordic bistro Bull & The Firm - cool cocktails and tasting menus Qvevri - if you have never tried Georgian food, don't miss this one! Just Vege - probably the best vegan restaurant in Helsinki There are also 4 supermarkets within a few min walk. The S-Market next to the metro station is open 24/7, which is super convenient.
