As a family-run business, we have been creating unforgettable nature experiences in Nuuksio National Park for over 30 years. Guided by the Principles of Sustainable Tourism set by the Finnish State Forest Enterprise, we are committed to protecting and preserving the environment we call home.
In recognition of our efforts, we have been awarded the Sustainable Travel Certificate and the GOOD Travel Seal, reflecting our dedication to sustainability and responsible tourism.
In 2012, our journey grew with the establishment of a private reindeer park bordering Nuuksio National Park. This unique location offers direct access to pristine wilderness, allowing our guests to experience the magic of Finland’s natural beauty up close.

Discover the Ice Age-sculpted wilderness of Nuuksio National Park, where rocky hills rise above lush woodlands, serene spruce forests, and over 80 pristine lakes and ponds. Well-marked trails, especially near Haukkalampi, invite you to hike, pick wild berries, or forage for mushrooms.
Just 1 km from the Igluhuts, the Finnish Nature Centre HALTIA showcases Finland’s natural beauty with engaging exhibitions and events—an ideal addition to your visit. HALTIA also features a cozy café and restaurant.
