Beautiful apartment with terrace located in one of the most characteristic villages of the Alpujarra: Carataunas, 6 km from Órgiva and 2 km from Soportujar, with beautiful views of the mountains. A perfect place to disconnect from the city and relax in a quiet environment surrounded by nature. Ideal for couples and families. The accommodation is fully equipped and we have ensured that it has a warm decoration so that you feel at home. And most importantly, the mattresses and the sofa are in perfect condition so you can rest after an intense day of tourism and/or sports. There is a nice living room with a fireplace and 2 bedrooms to accommodate up to 4 people. The mattresses are new (there is also the possibility of requesting a cot if you are traveling with your baby). The apartment has a nice terrace where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Sierra Nevada, and you can bring your pet with you, they are welcome In addition, the kitchen and the two bathrooms are fully equipped. We will leave the towels, gel and shampoo ready and clean. There is a community pool in the building, perfect for summer days. The Alpujarra area offers multiple activities if you are a lover of sports and nature: skiing, canyoning, hiking or you can also visit the nearby towns: the picturesque towns of Soportujar (2 km away), or the Barranco del Poqueira with Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira 10 km.

What to do in Carataunas: You can rest and practice sports in the open air with a wide variety of routes: we recommend you visit Soportujar, just 2 km away, the magical town of witches and the towns of Pampaneira, with its waterfalls, Bubión and Capileira, about 7-10 km away with several circular routes, if you are a lover of hiking, canyoning or cycling routes, you will love them! If you are an expert in the mountains, we recommend the Barranco Tajo Bermejo: Just half an hour away by car you can visit Trevélez, one of the highest municipalities on the peninsula, at the foot of Mount Mulhacén, and savor a delicious trout with ham, to later take a bath under the medieval bridge, if the weather permits.
