We were captivated with this little community, with the Blue Flag long & quiet beach and friendly and helpful community. The house is set in the most convenient location within short walking distance to 2 tropical blue flag beaches on either side, lined with stylish Chirinquitos. The beach is just outside the door so we normally only bring chair and towels. There are showers/WC along the beach. La Cala de Mijas takes pride in their cleanliness and safety. This combination is so unique within the Costa del Sol and you will immediately feel so much at home. The fabulous walkway ‘Sendo Litoral’ extends from La Cala Mijas for 1-2 hours for a scenic jog along the coast line. This little town was a fishing village. In fact in the early morning you may see 4 fishing boats. La Cala de Mijas is perfectly located between Malaga and Marbella. It takes only 25 minutes drive to the airport so there is no rush on the last day.
