The Paunküla Nature Resort is set in what we like to call a “nature-rich area”.
Forests, lakes, and rivers surround us. Although the location is peaceful and private, accessibility is easy by car, bike, bus, or foot.
The nearest airport is Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, which is 51 km away and an easy drive along the Tallinn- Tartu highway.
The forest cabin is a newly built, warm, and cosy property with a private bathroom and shower.
Next to the LED-lit terrace, you will find a “Japanese style” wood-fired jacuzzi with water and air jets, but you can also just relax in silence and gaze up through the trees into the clear sky.
The cabin is well-insulated and has a wood-burning fireplace, allowing year-round use. Firewood comes from our own sustainable source.
Up to four people can sleep on two levels.
Designed to allow visitors to view the forest only a few metres away, the cabin has large panoramic windows along one wall.
The cabin also has a kitchen.
Bathrobes, slippers, bed linen towels, and a hair dryer are supplied.
Eleri Lopp is an active conservationist who advocates for protecting nature in Estonia. She owns a small local tourism company. 10% of the income goes to nature conservation organisations to help with nature protection. In addition, she offers other forest houses for rent. Eleri is engaged in nature photography, and you can also order a photo tour directly from the host.
The area is enchanting and diverse in nature. One of the largest lakes in Estonia - the Paunküla reservoir - is in the immediate vicinity. The area is peaceful and quiet.
In addition to the nearby river, there are local forests and swamps, where you can practice various recreational activities.
The nearest shop is 8 minutes away.
