Rattelsdorf is a nice small village. We have a small but beautiful old center with the historic church. If you like longer walks/tracking or biking - just in 2 min walk you find yourself between the fields. Some of guests ride with their bikes to Bamberg or to the neighboring villages.
Rattelsdorf county has 4 working breweries, they all have their eating places ( Inns), take your chance and find out which one is your favorite ! In Rattelsdorf there are also two eating places.
It takes only 15min to drive to Bamberg! Also Coburg, Bayreuth, Würzburg and Nürnberg are maximum 45min car drive away. If you are interested in hiking or biking. You can find endless options in Franconinan Switzerland, in our area or in Hassberg area. On top of the many hiking trails there are also many castles, palaces and ruins.
If you prefer wine to beer. You can visit some local wineries in direction Würzburg, Volkach or Zeil a. Main. For more tips just ask me personally!
Rattelsdorf has free on street parking. We have a bus stop and our closest railway station is in Ebing ( ~2,5km)
