Comfortable, cosy, peaceful and spacious home with a large sun-soaked terrace with delightful views, quiet neighbourhood and plentiful nature walks starting just above the house. Our two-bedroom townhouse was built as a workers' cottage for the local ore mines in the early 1900s. It is set on the sunny hillside of Jachymov's valley with lovely views over the opposite hills and beautiful nature walks right above our street. You can walk over the green fields or disappear in the forest, for a short stroll or a day trip, no car needed. And of course, you can venture only a short drive further up into the hills for a bike ride or a day of skiing in the winter. Most of our visitors love soaking up the sun and the peaceful view from our terrace, which in the warm months serves as our outdoor sitting/dining area. The terrace is only one step out of the kitchen, so everyone can stay connected even during cooking. For protection from hot sun or light rain, you can cover the deck with a roll-out awning. The other side of the kitchen enters the spacious living room with a fold-out sofa, a day bed and a TV. The door can be shut if you'd like to use this room for a quiet nap or sleep overnight. Both our bedrooms are upstairs in the attic and enjoy another small common seating area with a second TV, foldout sofa and an armchair. The main bedroom has king king-size bed, two large built-in wardrobes, a chest of drawers and an armchair. The second bedroom has a double bed built into the corner of an attic. There is a large desk if you need a quiet corner for work, and a smaller built-in wardrobe. Our bathroom with a toilet and a shower corner is only small but clean and sufficient. It is on the ground floor, so if you need to use the bathroom overnight, please bear in mind that you will need to use steep stairs! If this should be an issue, we can set our living room as a bedroom for you. (The sofa bed sleeps two. Day bed sleeps one.)
