We welcome you to a traditional style room with king size four poster bed, private shower and WC with small garden area in the beautiful old village of Lania. There are tea /coffee making facilities and we will leave both and milk and water to ease your arrival. The room has A/C and heating TV/CD/DVD, free WiFi and bed linen, towels and shower soap are provided.

Born in London we spent our early married life in Norfolk. We have lived permanently in the village for more than 30 years having bought the house more than 40 years ago when we lived in Hong Kong. We have travelled over much of SE Asia and also lived in Bangkok and Brunei for long periods. When we first started renovating the house The Spidaki was our home for some time and we renovated and furnished it in the traditional style with timbered roof and a four poster bed - in old style but very new and comfortable, along with traditional style furniture. We also installed a walk in shower and WC. The room has a skylight that lets in natural light and at night you can watch the sky above your head although the bed has a canopy to shield it in the morning. You will have the private use of a small garden with picnic table and a sitting area outside the room. The room and entrance are on one level and has rails in the WC and shower, as well as a seat for the shower making the room useful for those with limited mobility. You will have as much privacy as you wish but we will always be happy to help with recommendations and anything you need. We love the area and we very much enjoy meeting our guests that come from all over the world and will give them as much or as little time as they wish.

There are many walks and places of interest in the area and several nearby tavernas and of course the forests of Troodos, which are often snow covered in winter and have several ski slopes. Lania Village is a very old and pretty village there are a number of sites of interest including the old wine press, the olive press and the cobblers shop, there is even a small library and an old village house open to the public. Just a stroll around the village takes the visitor back a hundred years. The village also holds regular events and village fairs especially the Lanes & Courtyards in May and at Christmas when the streets are decorated. Easter of course is the major religious and then on the Monday celebration festival.
