People travelling to Colombia with children under 18 years of age are required to present the child's birth certificate and a photo ID (passport for international guests) during check-in. If the visitor is a relative or legal guardian of the child, a notarised consent of travel signed by both parents must be presented, along with photocopies of their IDs. If only one parent is travelling with their child, a notarised travel consent signed by the absent parent must be presented. Visitors planning to travel to Colombia with children should consult with the Colombian consulate prior to travel.

Breakfast is not included for young children staying free of charge if their parents or guardians use existing beds. A children's breakfast is available for an additional fee.
