Barefoot Base Tupapa is an apartment set in the Avarua district of Rarotonga. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The property is non-smoking and is situated 70 metres from Avarua Beach. The apartment features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a terrace with sea views. Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the garden views. Solo travellers or couples will find great value in this simple one bedroom self contained sea side apartment in an older wood building (ants and termites sometimes get in). Spacious living area and Kitchenette equipped with the essentials, comfortable king size bed, newly renovated shower/toilet, ceiling fans to keep you cool and insect screens on security doors. Beach not suitable for swimming as too shallow/ rocky, but great for relaxing or shelling. Bed linens, towels and basic toiletries provided. Yard and beach access shared with two neighbours.
Bill lives just next door and is happy to provide tips and advice for your stay. You may enjoy having a look at his laser engraving business in action with a variety of local and personalised handicrafts he makes. Pasha is now working overseas in Fiji but is easily contactable by email
Local Coffee spot Love Cafe serves the best iced coffee in Rarotonga as well as reasonably priced toasties and baked goods - 5 minute walk towards Muri SuperBrown Petrol and Convenience store is open 24 hours and sells some prepared foods, local fruit and veg, with a burger takeaway open until 8pm.
