Accepted pet size: large (more than 60 cm) Discover the tranquility and beauty of our place in the Zurich Highlands. Our cozy garden apartment, renovated in 2011, in a charming older house provides everything for guests seeking a peaceful retreat. The 2-room apartment with its own entrance is located on the lower level of the house, optimally oriented to the south and offering a wonderful view. Inside, visitors will find comfortable and functional furnishings. The living room with a kitchenette is the perfect spot to relax after a day in nature. WiFi is available, but we deliberately do not have a TV to ensure an undisturbed rest period. The apartment is designed for up to 2 adults, with a bedroom that has a double bed. While it is not suitable for children and teenagers or guests with limited mobility, the fold-out sofa provides an additional sleeping option. A grocery store is just 800 meters away, making self-catering convenient. The exterior of our accommodation opens up to a garden adorned with palm trees, which is shared and offers direct access from the apartment. Forest, the surrounding village, is picturesquely located on the edge of the pre-Alps and offers mainly outdoor activities such as hiking or skiing in nearby ski resorts. Historical industrial buildings give the place its unique character. The Lake Zurich and the old town of Rapperswil with their shopping opportunities and sights are just a short drive away. For sports activities, there are options like fishing, climbing, or cycling tours. A large dog is also welcome, making the stay ideal for pet owners.
