In the centre of Herisau and a 6-minute train ride from Sankt Gallen, the 3-star superior Hotel Herisau was completely renovated in 2016 and provides a sauna, a fitness centre and a restaurant serving Swiss cuisine. The en-suite rooms all come with free WiFi, flat-screen TV, bathrobe and safety deposit box. Free parking is available on site and free newspapers are provided for guests of Hotel Herisau. The à-la-carte restaurant serves regional specialities and also features a terrace in summer. The bus stop Wiesental is only 10 metres from the house and the Herisau Train Station is 100 metres away. Zurich Airport is reachable within 45 minutes by car.
