The Woodcrest Suite is bright and cheery with lots of windows, but very private and cozy. It features air conditioning, and a washing machine & dryer in the suite for guest use. Also, a barbecue for your private use. A private seating area is located right outside. We enjoy living on our one acre of forested land. Jim and Anne have 8 children, 10 grand children, and one great grand daughter. Anne and Jim keep busy helping out their daughter & son-in-law with a large market garden. Jim works for the Forest Service fighting forest fires, so is very busy during the warmer months. He enjoys listening to music, puzzles, exploring BC, and hiking with his dog River. In Anne's spare time she crochets, macrames, cross stitches, writes children's books, & paints. Our son, Keiran, who co-hosts with us operates his own mini backhoe business while he lives in Clearwater for the 6 warmer months. He spends his winters in Alberta, doing outdoor Forestry work. He enjoys working, building, puttering with vehicle and small equipment motors, and collecting Lego. Our two dogs, River, and Buttons, and the cat, Kohi, are a special part of our lives. The family enjoys the outdoors, hiking & exploring B.C.

Wells Gray Park is fabulous! There are waterfalls, lakes, & rivers to explore. The Trophy & Raft mountains offer spectacular views & colorful alpine meadows. So bring along your camera! Rafting trips are available on the Clearwater River. There is also a swimming beach close by on Dutch Lake. We live in a rural neighbourhood where you can walk or run safely from the house. Our local gift shop features work created by our many talented artisans in the area.
