Once you have booked a room or reserved the premises for a group, you will receive all arrival details by email. Come and enjoy an invigorating stay in the fresh air at our Chapeauveau establishment. This vast mansion, surrounded by park, garden, barbecue and swimming pool (open from May to September), as well as an event room, was transformed in 2016 to become a quality tourist accommodation. All our rooms, with parquet floors and private bathrooms, are located on the second floor of the mansion. Chapeauveau can accommodate groups from 2 to 13 people, in 4 spacious rooms or private suites (double, triple or quadruple). A club area, including a lounge with TV, games and relaxation facilities, is also available on the first floor. We offer a range of accommodation options: B&B rooms, self-catering cottages for groups or apartments, depending on your requirements. Breakfast can be served on request, at extra cost. An adjoining event room for up to 40 people is also available for hire on request. We organize meals in a cosy atmosphere for our guests, and ample free parking is available. Please contact us for reservations or further information.

This hamlet is a 5-minute drive from Château d'Hélécine. A few houses make up this village in the countryside between Brussels (35 min) and Liège (35 min) (exit 26 on the E40). Absolute peace and quiet reign here, and a heated swimming pool is available in season. Stores and restaurants are just a few kilometers away in Hoegaarden (6 km), Tienen, Jodoigne, Pietrain, Hannut, Sint-Truiden and Leuven. The estate is listed in the heritage department. Chapeauveau is not connected to public transport, so a car or cab is necessary. Chapeauveau is suitable for cyclists, pedestrians and motorcycle riders, as well as for organizing birthday parties, team-building events and other events.

Chapeauveau Gîte - B&B - Events is an ideal place to relax while exploring the cultural and natural riches of Belgium. Whether you are travelling alone, as a couple, with your family or in a group, this guest house offers an exceptional setting conducive to a pleasant stay.

Accommodation

This guest house offers a seasonal outdoor pool in a spacious park. The garden and terrace offer breathtaking views of the surroundings, ideal for dining or drinking. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, toiletries and a coffee machine. Some rooms also have a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for long stays. Linen, towels and bed linen are provided.

Restoration

A la carte, continental or vegetarian breakfast is served on site or on the terrace. It is possible to enjoy a meal in table d'hôte on request or enjoy a drink at the mini-bar.

Activities and Attractions

The property is ideally located between Brussels and Liege, 25 km from Leuven, 35 km from Liege and 40 km from Walibi Belgium, offering possibilities for day trips or to organize events on site. Sites of interest such as the Château provincial d'Hélécine are only 3 km away. The environment and infrastructure (point-node/kruispunt) are perfect for cycling or hiking.

Additional Services and Amenities

A multimedia reception room adjacent to the domain is available for rent for teams buildings, workshops or other events. Free private parking is also available. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. For arrivals by air, the nearest airport is Brussels-National Airport, located 45 km away. A shuttle service is available for a fee.

Evaluation of Groups

Groups particularly appreciate the location of this property, which is awarded an exceptional 10.0 for a stay with others.

Horst Castle is closed and can no longer be visited due to its very poor condition. Instead, we offer the very beautiful provincial estate of Helecine, which is 4 km from Chapeauveau.
