Enjoying green surroundings in the Sonian Forest, B&B Hippo-Droom in Hoeilaart features an on-site restaurant, a bar, a tour desk and free WiFi access. Guests can rent a bicycle or car to explore the area and for a charge, you can go horse riding. Rooms comprise a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a desk. Free coffee and tea facilities are provided. The soundproof rooms are furnished with a private bathroom which includes a bath or shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. B&B Hippo-Droom serves breakfast to start the day. You can relax in the bar or have a meal in the buffet-style restaurant. Special diet menus as well as packed lunches can be obtained upon request. You can hang out in the property’s library, out on the garden terrace or in the gift shop. An array of activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings of the bed and breakfast. Hoeilaart is a 5-minute drive and Waterloo is 7.2 km. From B&B Hippo-Droom, it is 17.3 km to Brussels Airport. Wavre is 19.6 km or a 15-minute journey by car.

Our Belle Epoque villa dates from 1900 and has always been used to train and take care of race horses before they went to go racing to the Hippodrome of Groenendaal. A famous horse doctor/trainer lived here. Nowadays part of the stables are converted into rooms.
Davy has been in the hospitality business for more than 15 years, with a broad knowledge, interest and love for Belgian beers and gastronomy. In Hoeilaart and three other grape cities we used to grow world famous table grapes.
In the middle of the Sonian Forest or the green lungs of Brussels, near Waterloo, and only half an hour from Leuven.
