Parap is a vibrant and friendly place, with beautiful homes in leafy tropical streets. The Saturday market is a favourite with locals (best laksa in Darwin), and it's just a five minute walk away. Nearby are the beaches of Fannie Bay, Darwin Racecourse, and Darwin City is just 5 minutes away. Fun fact: Ross Smith Avenue, the main street near the house, was originally the Qantas runway. The aviation hangar/museum is just behind the (free) local tennis courts and local pool.
