Our Property was built in 1994 and originally was an Art Gallery. Later on it was extended to include guest rooms.
We have 3 ensuite rooms (two with spa's), two guest lounges and a separate dining area. All our rooms are fully equipped with a TV, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a few little goodies thrown in.
Our breakfasts are our specialty of the house and are prepared when ordered off our alla carte menu. All our small goods such as our bacon, sausages, ham, relishes are made here on the property and are all gluten free. We also offer homemade pastries.
We provide our house guests with dinner options here in our dining room, a menu is available in the room or prior to arrival upon request. If you are coming in late on the Spirit of Tas we are happy to have a meal ready and waiting for you. If you are leaving early or going on a picnic in our lovely area, we have packed lunches and breakfasts available.
Celebrating something special, see us about putting together a dinner or celebration for you and your family and friends to enjoy.
We are set on 3 acres of land which is teaming with wildlife. On most evenings you will be able to spot the odd Wallaby. Brush tail and ring tailed possums who are also regular visitors.
We moved to Tasmania from NSW in July 2020 after visiting several times for holidays. We are both passionate about food and the environment and that is why we love all that a Tasmanian life style and beauty has to offer. We enjoy meeting people and being able to assist guests with their holiday's and food experiences in Tasmania.
The seaside town of Port Sorell is a tranquil getaway with lovely beaches and nature experiences. Just across the Rubicon River is Narawntapu National Park, with Forester kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and Tasmanian devils'.
Port Sorell was the first settlement on the North Coast and was named after Lieut. Governor William Sorell.
Enjoy a walk on the jetty which is popular for swimming and fishing. Penguin Island is accessible by foot at low tide.
