There are three modern well designed villas at One Tree Hill. The first is 360o an architecturally designed modern Modscape modular house set up in two wings. The East wing comprises a king bedroom with Ensiute and a lounge dinning fully equipped Kitchen area with wood heater and air conditioner. The West wing comprises two queen bedrooms, a rumpus room, a second bathroom and a laundry. One of the great features of 360o is the opening glass wall facing south which brings the outdoors in and vice versa. The other two villas, Lockie's Lookout and Eagles Nest are both modern and modular providing a 24 m glass wall on the south side of each. They have a full width marble ensuite at the east end followed by a queen bedroom then a very comfortable lounge, dining, fully equipped kitchen area, including a wood heater and air conditioner. Next is the rumpus room with fold down Murphy bed then the second marble bathroom and finally the second queen bedroom. All villas have outstanding views of water and Wilson's Promontory.
I am passionate about One Tree Hill which I have had the pleasure, over some 15 years, of creating from a grassy hill with one tree to what it is today. My other passions are my partner Andrea, my border collie George and my catamaran Captain Jack moored on Lake Macquarie on the central coast of NSW.
The next-door neighbour is 1 km away the towns of Toora and Welshpool are each 10km away in opposite directions. You can walk or drive the 3km to Agnes Falls or you can walk the boundary up and down the steep hills uncovering new and spectacular views. To the west is coffee at Toora and Foster, the beaches and walks of Wilsons Prom (40 mins to front gate), uninhabited beaches at Waratah and Sandy Point. Drive on the back beach at Sandy Point, visit the secret beach on shallow inlet near Yanakie. To the east is the Agnes Falls (2km) Port Welshpool long jetty (10km), beach and wharf. Have fish and chips on the Port Albert Wharf. Enjoy a traditional old-style Aussie counter lunch at the historic, frozen in time, Victoria hotel Alberton (the kid’s meal size is huge). Enjoy the historic Yarram. Tour the fern rainforests, swing bridge and waterfalls of the Tarra-Bulga National Park and the Grand Ridge Road. There is a rail trail for biking and walking from Leongatha to Yarram.
