Each of our newly renovated boutique, studio apartments has timber floors, a wood fire heater, smart TV, unlimited NBN WiFi. The kitchen is complete with built in oven, stove top, fridge, microwave, coffee pod machine, slow cooker and more. Each apartment sleeps 2 with a King bed in the bedroom area and a sofa in the living area. The bathrooms are modern and have underfloor heating and either a large walk in double shower with a rain head shower plus a combination rail shower or freestanding bathtub and shower cubicle. The views from the rooms take in the hills and mountain ranges on three sides including The Great Western Tiers. The front deck and the seating areas throughout the gardens allow you to sit outside and take in the spectacular views with a glass of wine or cup of tea. Or enjoy the BBQ, fire-pit and the peace and tranquility of this location. The beautiful gardens and 6 acres of land that surround the house allow you to explore and meet our friendly animals, goats, sheep, chickens and our dogs. We can also provide a portacot on request. A laundry is available, behind the apartment for you to use for free. There are two apartments on the property. The apartments are attached to the end of the main house in which we live. You have a separate entrance at the opposite end of the house to us and are completely private.
After working and travelling overseas as a Marine Biologist for several years, I settled back in Australia and spent two years teaching after which my husband and I moved to Tasmania. We now have three children and I have been running our accommodation business since 2008. We have recently downsized to this much smaller accommodation business and I love hosting and travelling.
Our place is located in Mole Creek, (3.5km from the town centre) Tasmania, Australia.
Quiet, rural, relaxing with stunning views. Close to Wychwood Gardens, Trowunna Wildlife Park, Melita Honey Farm, Mole Creek Caves and The World Heritage area of Mole Creek Karst National Park, Alumn Cliffs State Reserve and The Great Western Tiers walks. We are “literally” just down the road from a walk up to the top of the Tiers and within easy reach of The Walls of Jerusalem National Park and Cradle Mountain World Heritage areas, Liffey Falls and The Great Lakes area. The Town of Deloraine is an easy 25 minute drive away and there you can find a large Woolworths supermarket as well as several eateries and a variety of shops and attractions. Mole Creek offers several places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and within a short drive you can sample the local hot smoked Salmon at 41 Degrees South Salmon farm, numerous cheeses at Ashgrove Cheese, all things Raspberry at the Raspberry Farm restaurant and Anvers Chocolates at their factory on the way North to Devonport.
