Horizons Golf Resort estate is privately managed and is separately managed to our villa. Sofa bed - Additional charges apply per additional person. Maximum of 6 guests only. Pets: We kindly ask you keep your much-loved fur friends at home during your time away as the property is not equipped to facilitate pets and their antics. We think you will have a much more relaxing time with one less traveler to take care of and we want you to fully enjoy every aspect of your stay. We thank you in advance and we are sure you will look forward to giving them a big cuddle on your return home. Safety: The property is not fully fenced, and we highly recommend the safety of children prioritized should any small children be coming on holidays with you. The property has patio. Noise Policy: We always follow strict noise regulations and ask you to be respectful and considerate. Strictly no parties or gatherings are to be held in this property. Any breach of these regulations may result in eviction without a refund of the remaining funds or deposit. Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travelers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved. Travelers under the age of 23 that are traveling with a family group with a parent are more then welcome to stay with us.. Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single-use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays, please bring extra provisions.

As one of the many smaller towns making up the Port Stephens region, Salamander Bay experiences the best of both worlds between vibrant seascapes and lively bush adventures, perfect for families and tourists alike. With plenty of fun activities and experiences on offer, including swimming with dolphins, shark and ray encounters, Oakfield Ranch Camel Rides, dolphin watching cruises departing from the Marina all year-round and whale watching cruises from May to November, you are truly spoilt for choice. If you’re after a more active outdoors option, we recommend getting amongst the local wildlife for a hike up to the Gan Gan Lookout, or a bike ride is also a fantastic way to explore the stunning waterfront, you could go as far as the heritage-listed Nelson Head lighthouse, built in 1875. Just a 2.5-hour drive north from Sydney and 31 kilometres from Newcastle Airport, Salamander Bay is an absolute must-do when it comes to escaping the city life.

Booking Verification

We operate similarly to hotels; however, since you will be utilising a self-check-in, we require these details digitally via a secure link. Please note that the property requires the following from the main booker ID verification documents within 48 hours after booking: a photo or scan of a valid photo ID that matches the credit card details used to book your reservation, along with a real-time selfie. Your information will be securely stored in accordance with Australian privacy laws. Please note that failure to provide these documents may result in the cancellation of your reservation while upholding the cancellation policy.

Security Deposit

A security deposit is required in the form of a pre-authorisation. This will be collected via a secure link to submit your credit card details. The deposit will not be physically charged unless damages or extra cleaning are reported by our team after check-out.

Cleaning Service

Please note that this property is not serviced like a hotel, and regular housekeeping, including daily cleaning and linen changes, is not included during your stay. However, if you would like to arrange for cleaning services, they are available upon request for an additional fee.
