Straddie Sales and Rentals is a holiday rental agency based in Amity Point off the coast from Brisbane on North Stradbroke Island in Queensland. It is owned and operated by sisters Karen and Annie who grew up on Straddie and have intimate knowledge of what this breath-taking island has to offer. The agency specialises in managing a variety of holiday properties to suit every budget, from small original fishing shacks to premium waterfront houses. While most of these holiday homes are located in the township of Amity Point, SSR have a small number of villas and houses for rent at Point Lookout and are looking to grow that market.... so watch this space!

The perfect holiday accommodation for an extended family or large group sleeping up to 15 guests. This spacious property is located in a quiet peaceful setting on a track bordering a native forest reserve & Koala habitat 250m from a beautiful white sandy beach.
The property comprises a high set 5 bedroom house linked by an entry foyer to a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage positioned at the rear of the large level 4047 m2 yard. With the addition of a marque 'Amity Pines' is ideal for hosting weddings & other private functions (subject to conditions).  For guest convenience the house offers free Wifi.
In the high set main residence the master bedroom with Queen bed has an ensuite, walk-in robe & parents retreat which opens directly onto the large covered outdoor deck. A second bathroom services the other 4 bedrooms: 1 x Queen bed and 3 bedrooms x twin Single beds. Each of the bedrooms and living areas have ceiling fans. The spacious central open plan living/dining/kitchen area opens directly onto the outdoor entertainment deck with gas BBQ and 2 outdoor settings.
The deck and living areas have sweeping views over the property towards the entrance. Internal access from the main house to the formal entry on the lower level leads through to the self-contained cottage which has an additional 2 bedrooms (1 x Queen + 1 x Single bed and 1 x twin Single beds). The cottage also offers a bathroom, kitchenette and living area with a 43" TV with access to Disney, Stan and Stan Sport. Another covered entertainment area overlooks the expansive gardens. The laundry is also located in the cottage complete with washing and dryer combination machine. There is provision under the main house for 2 carports with loads of room in the yard for off-street parking for multiple vehicles and boats. The yard is fully fenced & pet friendly (strictly outside). 
The property is centrally located in Amity Point village and only minutes walk to all amenities.

North Stradbroke Island (known as Minjerribah to our traditional owners) is the second largest sand island in the world and boasts some of the best beaches in Queensland. The subtropical climate means Straddie enjoys sunshine almost all year round, with a summer wet season and mild, dry winters. Summer temperatures average at 29°C during the day with winter bringing an average top of 21°C.
Located 30 kilometres southeast of Brisbane, Straddie is 38 kilometres in length and 11 kilometres at its widest point and covers an area of 275.2km2. Along the eastern shoreline of the island you will find soft, white sands and kilometres of rolling surf. The western side of the island faces Moreton Bay and offers calm bay waters and pristine beaches, ideal for families of young children, boating enthusiasts and those pursuing water sports without the waves.

Jet ski users, kayakers and boating enthusiasts all enjoy the waters that surround this quaint township. The gentle bay waters open up on the northern end to surf beaches, great for fishing and 4WD activities.
Home to some 340 residents, Amity Point has long been a popular holiday destination for those in search of a more slow-paced island getaway. The flat, quiet streets throughout the township are ideal for bike riding and being only 1km from one end of the town to the other, most amenities are within walking distance from your accommodation.
