Whether you're hosting a retreat, travelling with family, or simply looking to unwind in nature, Amara offers a unique blend of comfort, serenity, and space to just be. The main Amara Retreat House sleeps up to 12 guests and features six bedrooms, spacious lounge and dining areas, a magnesium infinity pool, fire pit, steam room, and views that stretch across untouched bushland. Looking for something more private? We have a variety of beautifully appointed spaces: -Sanctuary & Shanti Cabins – Fully self-contained with log burners, loft or double beds, and porches to sit and soak up the stillness. -Ruby Baby Bus – A quirky, off-grid bus with its own shower, compost toilet, and access to trails and our spring-fed waterhole. -Glamping Tents – Simple, comfortable, and close to nature, with private bathrooms and a shared kitchen. Guests have access to walking trails, a 4,000sqm swimming hole with a floating pontoon, yoga mats, chef’s kitchen, cozy fireplaces, and our stunning hilltop yoga centre with 180° bush views. Hi, I’m Bri. My family and I are the new custodians of Amara Estate, and we feel incredibly lucky to call this beautiful place home. After years of dreaming and searching for the right property, finding Amara felt like it was meant to be. It’s peaceful, powerful, and has this grounding energy that’s hard to put into words. We’ve fallen in love with the land and the legacy it holds. Hosting is something we genuinely enjoy. Meeting people from all walks of life, seeing how Amara supports their journeys, and being part of something that feels bigger than us. When we’re not looking after the estate, you’ll find us out in nature, practicing yoga, sharing good food, or simply soaking up the serenity here.
