Mark and I enjoy meeting people from many different Cultures. We ourselves are from London England and while we do not speak much German we are learning on a daily basis. We enjoy joining in with local events such as Kirchtag in July and PolentaFest in October.

We like to welcome our guests to our home and be sure they have everything they need. The house is named for the many Tapestries that can been seen at least one in every room these are folk art and all lovingly made by family. We have two cats they can be seen in the gardens but please do not feed them. There are mountain views from all rooms. Relax in the garden, BBQ available

There is lots to do locally. There are pathways alongside the river Gail only meters away where you can walk or cycle. You can hike in Dobratsch Nature park with its many plants and Animals. Canoeing is available on the river. Just a short drive to Bad Bleiberg where you can visit Terra Mystica and experience the world of mining past and present. We are 20 mins from Italy with many attractions such as lakes at Fusine and the Bob su Rotaia and the breathtaking Monte Santo di Lussari . Also a short distance into Slovenia you can visit Lake Bled with its castle on the lake. are just a few of the things to do.
