Do you and your family need a break from everyday life? Are you looking for relaxation away from the hustle and bustle and yet the infrastructure is not far away? Then the Hinterhabneralm is the perfect place for you! The Hinterhabneralm was lovingly renovated in 2008, using wood from our own forest both inside and out. The house is equipped with central heating and has a rustic flair as well as modern elements. The old kitchen stove, where the dairymaids used to stir their kettles, adds a special touch to our hut. It is often heated by our guests and provides a cozy warmth and a quiet, comfortable atmosphere. The three bedrooms, all paneled with wood and with comfortable, new mattresses and beds, give our guests a deep and healthy sleep. The view from the window of the incomparable mountain landscape does the rest. The hut is surrounded by a spacious garden, which invites the little ones to play and run around and the adults to relax in the deckchairs or chat together on the wooden seating. Summer and winter alike, you will find peace and relaxation there.
We are family Grießer and have our stable near to the chalet hinterhabneralm. There are our cows and calfs and in summer they enjoy on the fields around there. Early in the morning and in the evening we come there and feed and milk our animals.
We are only 700 meters away from the popular excursion destination "Steirischer Bodensee", where several hiking trails also start. Summer: countless hiking destinations in various levels of difficulty, family excursions on the ski mountains to mountain lakes, biking, swimming lakes, indoor swimming pool, numerous playgrounds, Kneipp facility, waterfalls, alpine pasture visits, culinary delights,... Winter: Skiing (5 ski areas 7-20 km away), ski touring, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, curling, indoor swimming pool, tobogganing and night tobogganing,...
