Everything is clean, cozy, and well taken care of — you can feel that this home is lovingly maintained. I came to Chicago for the Marathon, and my housemates turned out to be runners too! In the evenings we gathered around the table, shared stories, laughed, and enjoyed tea together — it felt like one big, friendly family 🫶 A special thank you to Shirley, a wonderful elderly woman who makes this house so special. She welcomes everyone with a warm smile and takes care of her guests as if they were her own family. The bathroom is spotless and fully stocked with all the essentials. And to my surprise — breakfast is included! Delicious food, great conversations, and a cozy start to the day ☕🍳 These three days will stay in my memory for a long time. I didn’t expect much at first, but reality far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with a heart full of care and love — this is the one. I rarely write reviews, but this time it comes straight from the heart ❤️ When I return to Chicago, I’ll definitely stay with Shirley again!

Stay Chicago in Chicago offers adults-only rooms with air-conditioning, shared bathrooms, and free WiFi. Each room includes a kitchenette, work desk, and parquet floors, ensuring a pleasant stay. Super well located place, close to the subway. It worked great for me

Wrigley Hostel se nachází jen pár kroků od stadionu Wrigley Field a pouhých 10 minut chůze od nejbližší veřejné pláže. I've been at the Wrigley Hostel twice. It has a real 'homey' feeling. For the solo traveler, it's the place to be in Chicago! One of the best in the USA (I say this as a European who's been to 90% of them in the US). I've been to all the Chicago hostels, go here!

Situated amongst the popular dining and entertainment of the West Loop neighborhood, this downtown Chicago hostel offers complimentary daily coffee and tea (a.m. only) and free WiFi. I don't think they had a breakfast and we left for an event at 6:30 am so it was never on our agenda.
