Situated in Chaweng and with Chaweng Beach reachable within less than 1 km, DK1Hostel features concierge services, rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. This doesn’t feel like a hotel or hostel at all, it feels like home. I came here with a serious leg injury I had same day morning. Tharita (also known as DK Mama) took so good care of me- ordered food every time I was hungry and very good tasty food and super reasonably priced. She got me ice cubes to treat the injury and then also medicine from pharmacy. The place itself is so cool, it has kitchen, coffee, water all the time to your disposal. And then the dorms and beds are so homelike. They have this long cylindrical pillow (it was such a help for me to rest my knee at night) on every bed and even linen feels like home linen and not those typical hotel linen. The balcony adds additional touch. And the locality is so friendly again. And just 100 mts from property, there is convenience store and a huge food market where you can enjoy local Thai food at super reasonable price. And Tharita worships Buddha and she also has lord Ganesha and Laxmi which was an additional reason for me to feel home. I stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely return in future.

Excellent value for money. The owner, Sam, is a sweetheart and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Right beside a beautiful beach and a great little rooftop terrace to watch the beautiful sunsets.

Was absolutely incredible Stayed as a solo traveller who has stayed at a LOT of hostels and this by far was one of the nicest ones. Very laid back vibe and all the staff were so lovely. It's a mixed use hotel with small rooms, the dorm rooms and villas so you will see a variety of guests from young families and young travellers. The outdoor spaces such as the terrace, pool and beachside area are fantastic. The area is really nice, on the edge of Lamai beach its a very easy walk or scooter into the main areas of Lamai beach and a 20 minute scooter to Chaweng or fisherman's village

Set in Lipa Noi, 2.4 km from Laem Din Beach, Baan Hinlad Home and Hostel offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Definitely it’s one of the best places where I stayed for the last period. I was lucky and stayed there alone. This place is close to waterfall within 10 min of walk. All facilities need are provided. And the whole vibe of this place was like a miracle and reminded me Bali with its rich nature, amazing sounds of birds, the meditative atmosphere and calmness. No noise, no fear, all is safe, modern. Respects and gratitude to the owner🌸

Ananas Samui Hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Laem Set Beach. With free WiFi, this 3-star hostel has a restaurant and a bar. It is nice small hostel far away from party side of an island. Lady and guy are taking good care of their guests. You can rent a scooter there - recommended. 10-15 min away 7/11, and few restaurants. Nearby really nice „Cool Bar” at the beach. Guy took us to ferry and show where to check in and where to go. If you look for peace and quite place its perfect.

The place is lovely, clean, bright, and homey. It feels really comfortable, the beds are great with plenty of space, and the towels were really soft! Pannita is the perfect host, so sweet and involved, and always makes sure everyone is happy. She makes the perfect atmosphere, especially if you're a solo traveler.

Very clean and the nicest staff and owner ever. Also a nice kitchen and a chill common area, just felt like a little second home especially when staying longer :)

I cannot rate this hostel highly enough! It is simply the BEST in Koh Samui. The staff, Wan & Piak, went above and beyond everyday during our stay, from helping us finding a rental scooter place, to asking how our day was, and overall just being such lovely helpful people, they definitely made our stay feel like home ( the fluffy blankets were a bonus too!!). All of the facilities were cleaned every single day, the rooms smelt amazing, and the location itself was very good! We felt so sad to leave here- we absolutely loved it, and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Koh Samui! ❤️

Located in Bangrak, Samui Backpacker Hotel is a 1-minute walk from a pier that can take guests to Ko Phangan and the famous full moon parties. The owner and all the staff are really nice and willing to help you. Also it is really good vibed and perfect to meet new persons.
